A pair of 2-year-old giant pandas are set to arrive at the National Zoo by the end of the year. The male panda, Bao Li, is the offspring of Bao Bao, who was born in D.C. in 2013. News4’s Aimee Cho reports.

Nearly 19 hours after they left D.C. the pandas have arrived at their new home in China, according to the National Zoo.

Since 1972, pandas have been the biggest stars at the Smithsonian National Zoo in D.C. Today, the three remaining bears departed for China.
